Med konsumtion som en röd tråd i sociala medier kommer nu en motrörelse. Deinfluencing har framför allt tagit fart på TikTok, främst av microinfluencers som delar med sig av vad ni inte borde köpa - i hopp om att undvika, eller i alla fall få sina följare att tänka till en extra gång innan ett köp. Rörelsen drivs främst av mindre beauty influencers som vill sparka uppåt mot den brist på transparens och medvetenhet de ser hos större profiler. 



#### Mascara Gate

Trenden sammanfaller med MascaraGate, där TikTok-stjärnan och makeupartisten Mikayla Nogueira, blev anklagad för att göra reklam för L’Oréals mascara med lösögonfransar på för att visa det imponerande slutresultatet, utan att nämna det. Det starka community inom beauty rasade mot den falska marknadsföringen och menade att det var ett bakslag mot alla kreatörer och att deras förtroendet bland TikTok-användare stod på spel. 



**Från bästa till sämsta köp**

Detta utlöste en antidot mot rekommenderade produkter och den ständiga uppmuntran att köpa nytt. Stora som små TikTokare, men även Instagram och Youtube-profiler skyr inga medel i vad de rekommenderar att inte köpa. De listar sina sämsta köp utifrån kriterier som förpackningsdesign, utseende, långvarighet och kvalitet m.m.

**Helgar ändamålet medlen?**

Även om tanken är god har det uppdagats flera fall där influencers inte gjort tillräckligt med research om produkterna de ratar. Brittiska Amelia Liana med 130 tusen följare på TikTok och 511 tusen på Instagram hamnade nyligen i hetluften när hon avrådde sina följare att köpa makeup-märket Rare beautys rouge på grund av hur kladdigt det blir när man öppnar förpackningen. TikTok-communityt var inte sena med att reagera och påminna Amelia om att förpackningen är designad för att de med funktionsvariationer enkelt ska kunna öppna hylsan. De påpekade hur viktigt det är att man gör sitt förarbete innan man dissar en produkt.

**En kortlivad trend**

Jessica Clifton, en hållbarhetskreatör som driver TikTok-kontot @impaectforgood_ tror inte trenden kommer bli särskilt långvarig eller kommer ha en stor inverkan på människors köpbeteende. Hon säger i en intervju med Huffpost: “TikTok-kulturen är för förtjust i produktrelaterade videor.” Men hon var fortfarande positiv till engagemanget och glad för den skillnad den kan göra för att minska masskonsumtionen, om så en liten.

**En ulv i fårakläder**

Andra menar att det är bara en ulv i fårakläder. Att det som influencer kallar “att göra samarbeten”, med andra ord använda relationen till sina följare för att kränga saker åt företag skiljer sig inte från deinfluecning. Det kommer bara i en annan skepnad. Att istället för att uppmuntra direkt till köp, paketerar man det med “köp inte den där, men den här istället” - ett slugt sätt att vinna förtroende först innan man presenterar uppmaningen att köpa något annat kort därefter. 

**Economy conscious content**

Så må va, men vi ser också en ökning i economy conscious content - med andra ord ekonomiskt medvetet innehåll. Världsekonomin har ändrat målbilden för många företag som sett över kostnaderna och nu minskar sin marknadsföring. Men om man ska vara taktisk finns det ett fönster för att gå mot det sedvanliga innehållet vi ofta möts av på sociala medier. 
Trender, inte minst på TikTok, tyder på att både varumärken och influencers kommer skapa mer kostnadsmedvetet innehåll och satsa på mer samarbeten inriktat på att spara och handla smartare. 

**Modebranschen tar största smällen**

Detta resulterar också i att konsumenter skär ner på lyxprodukter, så som mode och inredning, upp till 50 % enligt pwc. Detta genererar troligtvis i att vi kommer att se färre modesamarbeten, och när vi gör det kommer det handla bl.a. om capsule wardrobes – alltså tips på hur man bygger en basgarderob med så få plagg som möjligt. Modeindustrin är där vi kommer se en påtaglig förändring i hur man marknadsför och samarbetar, inte minst vad det gäller de stora modehusen.

**Trovärdighet är nyckeln**

Så, vad har vi lärt oss? Att skala ner på samarbeten och vara mer selektiv med produkter man rekommenderar är bra ur ett miljö- och ett ekonomiperspektiv. MEN, gör din research innan du ratar en produkt och gör det utan att ersätta den med en annan - om du vill behålla trovärdighet som digital kreatör och vara en del av det långsiktiga målet att minska konsumtionen.

#### Jag har testat en massa AI-verktyg för att se vilka som funkar bäst i mitt arbete. Det kan ibland vara svårt att navigera sig fram bland alla verktyg som finns. Vissa kan ibland sätta krokben istället för att leda dig framåt. Många tycker olika om AI, ifall det är bra för ett kreativt arbete eller inte. #### Är AI alltid bäst när man vill spara tid? 
Både jag och nej. Man måste ge verktygen lite tid, men när man väl är över den tröskeln så går det smidigt. Jag har testat allt ifrån planering till att bolla idéer och förbättra texter med positiva resultat. Kul att slippa behöva hitta på låtsasbrödtexter! AI utvecklas ständigt med nya bra funktioner. Ett verktyg som jag verkligen ser fram emot att få testa mer är Chat GPT code interpreter, som låter en redigera kod och data enkelt, direkt i chatten. 

#### När ska man vara försiktig med AI? 
AI funkar inte alltid till 100%. Ett roligt (eller skämmande) exempel på detta var när en matvarubutik i Nya Zeeland testade en app som genererade matrecept. Appen "Savey Meal-bot" från Pak ‘n’ Save syfte var att föreslå recept utifrån rester man redan hade hemma. Appen föreslog allt ifrån en inte så aptitretande Oreo vegetable stir-fry till aromatic water mix som innehöll giftig kloringas… Så lita inte alltid på AI. 

#### Det är inte bara en fluga, det är framtiden. 
Att hänga med i AI är smart och kommer att behövas i framtiden. Därför är det toppen om man redan nu börjar jobba in det i sitt arbetssätt.

#### Hur kul är det inte att leka med ChatGPT? Det var min första hållning i AI-frågan, innan jag började se det som ett användbart verktyg och innan vart och vartannat LinkedIn-inlägg uttryckte oro för framtida jobb likväl som för mänskligheten i stort. 


Inte sällan dök det i nämnda flöde upp ironiseringar; folk vältrade sig – möjligen halvt nervöst? – i förlöjligande av den artificiella intelligensens brist på finess, som ju leder till dötrist och generisk copy. Folk i branschen poängterade vikten av mänskliga relationer, och värdet i att kunna ställa rätt frågor för att bena ut vad kunden behöver, snarare än vad hen kanske trodde hen ville ha. Och så har vi lägret som såg det som en nödvändighet att ”hänga med i utvecklingen”; att bli världsbäst på att skriva prompt till AI-generatorer skulle bli det enda sättet att garantera sin plats bland framtidens reklamskapare.


























Men ChatGPT är alltså i min värld fortfarande en leksak, då dessa diskussioner förs runt omkring mig. Jag ber min lilla dator svara på frågor som om den vore en katt. Som om den vore en ilsken pensionär. Jag försöker använda den i jobbet, men det blir ju inget bra. Den genererar inga idéer jag inte redan haft själv, och texterna är korrekta men saknar själ. Eller är det bara jag som inte lyckas förmedla vad jag är ute efter?

Vi ser efter om ChatGPT kan förmedla lite själ, i detta fall hos den oerhört påhittade firman Annelis Bygg AB.

Snark. Absolut en text som hade kunnat lura den oinvigde, men kom igen AI! Bättre kan du nog.


Okej. Mitt hantverkskunniga hjärta pumpar inte direkt passion för det här högtraveriet. Men stilfigurer levererades, tack för det.

Är det bara jag som tycker ”Vår famn omsluter dig som kund” låter riktigt obehagligt? Nytt försök.

Alltså nu blev det ändå pyttelite bättre, va? Men här börjar vi närma oss en fallgrop. ChatGPT skriver om och gör förändringar efter uppmaningarna. Samtidigt har vi börjat måla in oss i ett hörn. I det här läget kan det vara svårt att tänka utanför boxen, att ändra om i textens disposition eller innehåll helt. Det är lätt hänt att man börjar slipa istället för att inse att man kanske hade behövt börja om. Man hade åtminstone tjänat på att prova en omstart, med ett annat grepp.

#### Vad är Girl math?
 Har du letat efter en axel att luta  dig mot i din ekonomiska ångest? #Girlmath är här för att stötta dig.  Det kan röra sig om allt från ett impulsköp som en taxiresa till något mer överdådigt som en designerväska eller skönhetsbehandling – inte alltid de mest ekonomiska besluten – tills nu. Trenden började (i vanlig ordning) på Tik Tok där kvinnor rättfärdigar sin shopping och varför den kunde vara ett smart affärsmässigt drag.



#### Och vad är Girl dinner?
Trenden föddes  ur föregångaren #girldinner, där kvinnor delade med sig av sina middagar på Tik Tok med minimal ansträngning, minsta möjliga disk och alltid bestående av favoritsnacks.  Tänk: oliver, chark, salta pinnar, en brödbit eller varför inte en piggelin?

#### Smörgåsbord av tillfredsställelse
Det som skiljer en Girl dinner från exempelvis ens manliga partners definition av middag, är hur kort tid och ansträngning det krävs för att ändå uppnå en hög nivå av tillfredsställelse. Innebörden av Girl dinner  är ett smörgåsbord av smak, näring och konsistens.

#### Motståndshandling  till hemarbete
Företeelsen har mötts av blandade reaktioner. Vissa dietister menar att det är en förklädd ätstörning som bär historien om många kvinnors komplicerade relation till mat. Men andra experter hävdar att när det “görs rätt”, kan  en Girl dinner faktiskt vara ett praktexempel  på en komplett kostcirkel. På ett sätt är Girl dinner också en form av motståndshandling hemarbete som kvinnor förväntas att utföra.

#### Cost per wear
Efter att ha mötts av oförståelse från både män i sitt eget liv och sociala medier, började kvinnor kort därefter dela med sig av ett annat resonemang som tycks vara totalt ologiskt för (obs inte alla) män. ✨Girl math✨       Låt mig förklara. En klänning jag köper för 
2 400 kr kan jag bära på tre olika bröllop, vilket gör att priset kan delas på tre. Alltså kostar den bara 800 kr. Ett praktexempel på cost per wear, alltså hur priset sjunker i samband med hur ofta man använder plagget.

#### Girl math saves the day 
Nu har metodiken fått ta plats i större samtal. Det Nya Zeeländska radioprogrammet Fletch, Vaughan & Hayley har infört det som ett åter-kommande segment och lyssnarna älskar det. Gäster som ringer in och berättar om sina dyrgripar, det kan vara allt från konsert-biljetter till en Dyson air wrap. Program-ledarna har t o m gått så långt som att bjuda in en erkänd ekonom, Brad Olsen, som tillsammans med en kvinnlig panel får avgöra om det ekonomiska dilemmat går att lösa genom Girl math. Ofta är svaret ja.

#### Tänk som en ekonom
Olsen som är chefekonom på Infometrics sträcker sig så långt som att Girl math visar på hur allt fler unga kvinnor har börjat tänka som ekonomer i en utmanande tid. Det finns såklart undantag som att “allt jag betalar med kontanter är gratis, för inget har dragits från mitt kort” där resonemanget faller. Men att tänka på andrahandsvärdet  av ett designerplagg eller att hyra ut sin bröllopsklänning indikerar hur vi ser på vår shopping allt mer som investeringar snarare än med en slit- och slängmentalitet.

#### Förenas i dåliga beslut
Om du följt våra trendspaningar innan kanske du minns vårt inslag på ekonomiskt medvetet  innehåll. Hauls i överflöd och resor som avlöser varandra flyger inte längre – mottagarna kräver en lyhördhet till den tid vi lever i. Men även om det i vissa fall kan tolkas som en mer medveten typ av shopping, vittnar det framför allt om hur igenkänningen kvinnor förenas i. 

#### Lönsamhet möter underhållning
Varför appellerar då rättfärdigandet av kvinnors vanor till en så stor publik? Överkonsumtion är inte nödvändigtvis roten till Girl math, men det råder ingen tvekan om att vi är många som, på ren svenska, borde sluta köpa så mycket skit. Ibland är girl math rentav lönsamt, men ofta en slags galenskap som får oss att känna oss lite mindre ensamma i våra dumma beslut. Men inte minst underhållande content.

We shifted the communication from bought media to earned media. Through strong PR ideas and collaborations with media and influencers, we’ve increased the number of visitors by 40%. Halloween at Liseberg is full up, visitors stay longer and spend more money. Halloween at Liseberg’s footfall increased by 135% during 2018–2021.

# A pinch of cosiness and a large scoop of horror lead to instant success
Liseberg is the Nordic region’s largest amusement park. Summer at Liseberg is well known throughout the country. But the autumn’s Halloween at Liseberg had only been around for a few years and awareness was still low when Welcom started working on the assignment in 2018. At the beginning of our work, we wrestled with a couple of challenges:

Halloween at Liseberg was still a new phenomenon with little awareness.
We also had two important target groups with completely different interests. While young people were tickled by scary horror and happy to share experiences and content with their friends, families with children risked staying at home.

The strategy was to communicate the overall experience with a cosy message about Halloween at Liseberg as laughter, rides and excitement for young and old in broadly purchased channels. While in pointed and targeted communications, we used this year’s new attraction to reach teenagers and those interested in horror via earned media. To get through with the pointed communications, something extra was required. We needed to find an interesting way to attract newspaper editors, while at the same time creating ideas that would make young people want to share the communication with their friends.

# Cirkus Bisarr
In 2018, we launched that year’s new attraction – Cirkus Bisarr – with a PR-driven campaign whose main purpose was to create headlines in the news media and thus achieve a quick spread in social media.

# The Forest
In 2019, we launched The Forest with an influencer-driven campaign.

# House of Cards
In 2021, we launched House of Cards with a debate-seeking PR campaign and an influencer-driven activity.

Being a part of this project is and has been anything but scary. It is a dream project where creativity has been allowed to run rampant. Which of course is very funny and extremely satisfying. The first two portraits take place on Östra Hamngatan in Gothenburg. We meet Karin Lindberg at the high quality wallpaper store Engelska Tapetmagasinet, and the restaurant owner Zoran Popovski at the Italian restaurant Sorrelina. Since then, the campaign has continued to grow. We have portrayed a wide range of businesses. Including a barbershop, a charcuterie and a company specialized in premium audio equipment.

To change focus from just showing properties, to portraying the people and their work inside Svenska Hus’ estates was a fun, new and informative perspective. The campaign is still alive and we still find new ways to develop the core idea further.

After two years of pandemic and restrictions, Liseberg was incredibly happy to finally be able to open the gates and welcome their guests to a new summer season of swirling, spinning, goodies and excitement. A summer to Unleash the joy.

A novelty for the year was that the tickets and full access card "Årskort" and "Guldpass" moved from the wallet to the phone.

The new park area Luna Park with the equally recent rides Turbo and Tempus was launched with an exciting adventure theme.

Ramping up for opening day, a PR campaign was carried out where everyone with the name Luna was invited to inaugurate the park area Luna Park and try out the new rides. We even found a girl named Luna Park.

Design of merchandise and a close collaboration with influencers to show that the ice cream boat from SIA Glass is the one and only original on the market. The ice cream boat is an iconic Swedish ice cream favourite which has been produced by SIA Glass since 1961. A few years ago, other ice cream manufacturers developed their own variants of the ice cream boat. To show that SIA Glass is the original, we developed a collection of merch.

A PR mailing with merchandise and a lookbook was sent out to selected journalists and influencers.

# Ice Cream Trends 2022

SIA Glass is a company that is at the forefront of innovation, sustainability and trends. This year’s trend research report, Ice Cream Trends, showed how much consumer insight, knowledge and hard work was behind the various ice cream flavours and combinations that ended up in the product range.

The report’s surveys were supplemented with sales statistics on best-selling flavours, as well as fun facts about which special trend preferences stand out in different parts of the country.

With the annual reports, SIA Glass shows that it is the leading ice cream manufacturer in sustainable Swedish food production and distribution as well as taste innovation.

# New ice cream flavours 2022

During the spring, this year’s new ice cream varieties from SIA Glass were launched. A great PR mailing with loads of ice cream being offered to journalists all over the country.

In Gothenburg, an exclusive launch event was arranged where selected influencers with children were invited to taste this year’s news in a content-friendly environment.

Through long-term relationship building, content-friendly material and exclusive content, the campaign gained a potential reach of just over three million readers, an estimated advertising value of almost fourteen million kronor and a PR value of just over ninety million kronor.

It is not easy to be fifteen years old, you have to fit in and stand out. On top of that, you also have to make your first, adult decision – choose an upper secondary school programme. Academedia believes in change through education – so do we. That is where the idea for the most accurate upper secondary school test to date was born.

# Gymnasiekoll through Machine Learning
The more data, the better recommendation. Through a Machine Learning engine, we collected thousands of students answers about interest, future dreams and upper secondary school, which is the basis for the test on [Gymnasiekoll.se](https://gymnasiekoll.se/). With a test that is not only accurate, but entertaining, we have received answers from over 30,000 young people. Every year that number increases, which means that the test get's better over time.

# Make an important decision less dramatic

Unlike parents, student counselors and friends, seniors have a more relaxed view on upper secondary school, and they may not even have attended high school. With the help of a student, seniors took the test and learned about what a jungle it is out there, the advanced technology behind AI and how fun it can be to choose a programme if you have the right tool.

# Share your result

To help their friends choose the right upper secondary school programme, we created various sharing features to spread their results on their social media. Together with Instagram's tools, followers can get involved with the content, vote on which programme is best suited and be inspired to do the test themselves.

Göteborg Energi, a public electrical utility company, acts as a market leader to increase awareness and knowledge of how energy works, and how responsible citizens, can be team players, take control and distribute their electricity consumption during the day in a more sustainable manner. 

Our mission was to create awareness that we all need to change our behaviour, so that the power provided is enough for everyone. 


# Göteborg Energi 
# – the app
Responsible citizens turn to electricity for sustainability reasons but the production of electricity and the network for its distribution is on a path where it simply isn’t enough to meet the demand at all times of the day. 

Hence, users have identified a need to steer their electricity consumption to different times of the day when supply is high and demand is low but that requires a tool to visualise the fluctuation of the price during the day and follow up how well the user has succeeded in their attempt.

The solution? A Göteborg Energi app to answer all questions in a project that was initiated in late 2020 and had its first launch mid-2021.

# Technical Solution

Together with Göteborg Energi, we decided to build a mobile app to assist their customers in their journey towards a more sustainable way of living from an electrical point of view. The user interface and supporting systems deployed to the cloud have all been developed with the main goal of making everything simple and swift for the user, so that they can  easily get the information needed and assistance in how to act upon that information. 

The app quickly became the #1 utility app in Sweden on App Store and, with over 35,000 installs (as of March 2022) together with high ratings (4.2 on App Store), it has been nothing but a huge success. The installed user base keeps growing with every new release, and the app keeps on proving to be an even more usable tool towards a sustainable future with every added or tweaked feature. This is a continuous on-going mission, growing and adapting as the needs and possibilities change.

Göteborg Energi / The App

An integrated campaign and app launch to get the citizens of Gothenburg to reduce their electricity consumption in favor of the climate.

The City of Gothenburg signed the EU agreement Climate Contract 2030 and will reduce its fossil emissions by 70% by 2030. The city has appointed Göteborg Energi as a key player in this work.

Electrification is necessary for the climate. Dirty fossil fuels must be replaced with clean energy. But the electrical network is not sufficiently developed, so the electricity will not reach the people of Gothenburg in an amount that corresponds to their needs. 

Time to do less for the climate


Lack of electricity power is an unknown issue among the citizens. In the available surveys, no one really saw this as a problem. We saw great challenges in capturing the citizens interest in an unknown issue that is definitely difficult to understand. They should not just understand, but they should also like the issue and actually be able to think about changing their own behavior.

Our solution was a campaign in bought and earned media that explained that we all need to change our behavior when it comes to electricity use. We also developed and offered the people of Gothenburg a smart digital app that helps them control their power consumption.

The campaign was successful and had some amazing results. Including over 200 000 app users.
